Jazz
Jazz is always a fun challenge to record and mix, there are so many opportunities to learn and grow s an engineer.
This recording was done last minute in a lecture hall, when no other room was available at the time. I was limited to personal gear and a short set up time. In the end I am happy with the results, though there are things I will always want to change about a recording.
The Shenandoah Conservatory Big Band recorded live in Armstrong Concert Hall. This recording is from my first semester of remote recording practicum, and although I have grown as a recording engineer since then, it is still one of my favorite recordings.
